Who can apply?
Peoples-Praxis mentoring is open to anyone working in a public health capacity in a low-to-middle-income country (LMIC). You do not need a postgraduate qualification to apply.
You are currently working in, or contributing to public health in a low-to-middle-income country context — in any role or setting.
You are ready to invest time in regular meetings, reflection, and putting insights into practice in your work.
You have sufficient internet access to hold regular video or audio calls with your mentor.
If you are unsure whether your role or context fits, please get in touch — we review all applications individually and are happy to discuss your situation.

What we expect from you
The programme works best when mentees are active, reflective, and engaged. Here is what we ask of you.
Attend scheduled meetings reliably, prepare for each session, and invest time between meetings in reflection and action. Typically 2–4 hours per month.
Use the provided log books and reflection tools. Thoughtful self-reflection is central to how you will grow through this programme.
Respect the confidential nature of the mentoring relationship. What is shared in sessions stays between mentor and mentee unless otherwise agreed.
Engage professionally and respectfully with your mentor and the Peoples-Praxis team at all times, in line with our safeguarding and conduct policies.
